hi folks!
BVAL-3.0 looks already really decent - thanks for all that hard work!
What do you think about an alpha-1 release?
I've yesterday published a snapshot to our official ASF snapshots repo to be
able to work on OpenJPA-4.0.
But before we do any release of a EE9/10 project we'd need some

Do we want to go for a BVal-2.0.0 release?
Seems we pass the TCK, so we should really kick it off I'd say.

Hi folks!
I tried to compile the bv2 branch today and got a weirdly looking error.First I
had to compile the latest commons-weaver-1.4-snapshot myself.Did that and also
deployed upstream.
When I tried to run the bval bv2 build then it now failed with a cryptic
message:

Thanks so much for your work, Matt!
I gonna update TomEE8 to the latest bval-2 snapshot!

Summary: Upgrade OWB and Arquillian
Key: BVAL-153
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BVAL-153
Project: BVal
Issue Type: Task
Components: tck
Will be fixed in OWB-2.0.0 and 1.7.5 releases.
Until then we gonna update to OWB-1.7.2 which runs stable.Again: it's actually
not an OWB core bug but just in the Arquillian container.

Hi folks!
BVal currently uses OWB-1.6.0 for the TCK. All works fine up to until
OWB-1.7.2, but from 1.7.3 up it fails.
I've now checked a few tests and I'm quite confused.
For example in
MessageInterpolatorSpecifiedInValidationXmlNoDefaultConstructorTest
The config file
what is a RC-1 release?
For us to check?

I really would love to move our current trunk to a bval-1.0.x branch and th
