I too support to enhance real-life OOoCon with more virtual elements, it will
allow more people form different countries, different communities, to join and
contribute ideas. Furthermore, by allow more people to join in the Conference
virtually, it will definitely become more energy
I agree that having a "real life" OOoCon with sections that are virtual
will allow more people from all over the world to participate in the
Conf. This allows for more diverse and interesting ideas from a range
of people and cultures and this should be promoted.

As this picture is raytraced the shadows are indeed correct. I added the shadow
for a better 3D effect, but removed the floor shadow. This three cubes are
"lonely" cubes, with some distance to the whole swirl. I never thought about it
until you asked about it. For me it was natural,

Yes I'd agree that 500 Euros is a reasonable funding request. I think getting
all the money back via donations may be a bit hard unless OOo doesn't mind
waiting a while.

mmh, i am not sure. From my perspective we need a dedicated area for
such things. And it is not design only, so i would see it more a general
marketing thing. Art is only one aspect.

Conference every year. It is giving so much enthousiam and warmth to
