Hi Nathan
This is Venkat Ranganathan. As I mentioned on general@incubator, I am
available to help, but looks like there are other mentors who are shepherding
it.
Thanks
Venkat

Just my vote for the path names:
apache/nuttx_rtos
apache/nuttx_apps
Looks safe and self-explanatory :-)
If clone to nuttx_rtos.git/ and nuttx_apps.git/ would be also acceptable
that would be perfect (and marked there is a git repo inside).
Thank You and Good Luck! :-)

Hi all,
This thread has stalled for a while, so let's get back on track!
When we last discussed Graduation to TLP, we concluded that these items remain:
1. We need to review our STATUS file and fix any missing items:
https://incubator.apache.org/projects/nuttx.html
2. Ensure Mentors and IPMC ha

Let's first make sure we have done all the things in the check list?

Hi all,
As this [DISCUSS] thread has quieted down for quite some days now,
shall we have a [VOTE] thread or does anyone have additional thoughts
to share?
I'll wait another 72 hours before beginning a [VOTE] thread to give a
chance to anyone who would like to speak up. Now's the time!!

Yes, a lot of files with hyphen:
$ find . -name "*-*"
./arch/z80/src/ez80/clang-compat.asm
./arch/xtensa/include/esp32s2/core-isa.h
./arch/xtensa/include/esp32s2/tie-asm.h
./arch/xtensa/include/esp32/core-isa.h
./arch/xtensa/include/esp32/tie-asm.h
./arch/xtensa/include/esp32s3/core-isa.h
./arch/x
The ZiLOG tools won't accept a hyphen in file names either
This problem exists for other directories and files that include a hypen
in the name. There have been several PRs changing file/directory names
to use an underscore instead of a hyphen.
I also prefer '-' character but after some adventures with crazy
JavaScript world I have switched to '_' as it treated part of the
string as mathematical subtraction operation on the string lol :-) :-)

I never had this problem with C or Python so we should be safe here :-) :-)
The ZiLOG
Agree! nuttx_apps is better :-)

I think that we should modify the paths so that we use
nuttx and nuttx_apps folders.
In my opinion this will be less confusing for the users

Yes, it is all details, but it is better to use a repository name that
users don't need pass that name in the configure or keep passing a
name after the clone command.
So let us think how to make the life of users easier.

Yes, we can do that, and this is what most of us do (although I forgot
the last time I had to clone the repos). On the other hand,
./configure accepts a different apps path with the -a option. It just
defaults to ../apps, but technically it can be anywhere and named
anything.

For the checklist, there are two points where we gonna need external
help, probably from our mentors:
1. Demonstrate ability to create Apache releases
2. Demonstrate community readiness

done. We believe that the project has de
