Any chance you can reproduce with a debug perl build so we can see what perl
is trying to free ?
Also, in #6, it would be nice to see the content of handler, r, s and args to
get an idea of what
was being executed in mp land.

A simple change makes it work as expected:
goto &XSLoader::load;
This way instead of pushing a new frame on the call stack the current
(APR::XSLoader::load) frame is replaced by XSLoader::load. Hence caller()
sees the original caller.
Sounds like a correct fix to me.

Yes, that works. I wonder why I didn't have to do i
debug/c.html#Analyzing_Dumped_Core_Files
In a nutshell, rebuild with
perl Makefile.PL MP_DEBUG=1 [...]
And proceed until you get a core dump.
Then use t/REPORT to submit a bug report, with the backtrace.

Hi Philippe,
the mod_perl mailing lists don't seem to respond to '
Intel when trying to
build statically with mod_ssl.
Also, this patch needs to be applied, too (first sent back in January):

Nothing too difficult, but quite a few places to get tripped up.
Unless you have the time to get this sorted out quickly, I'd rather

Any objections ?

Not sure if that's really planned for yet. It hasn't been done in
any case, and it was unnecessary in the test suite.
