will confirm that the contrib is not compatible with 6.0. Then you
should be able to do an rpm -e to uninstall that package.
Good Luck,

Hi David,
I have just done an install of an Mitel Networks server 6.0beta3 box

I did the same thing last night. I had previously tred updating via the

SMEServer-5.1.2_Update1-01.noarch.rpm
Pierre,
This is possible and there may be an easier way to do it than I have.
I had to create some template-custom entries to change the imp
defaults.
You need to change the default server or servers in servers.php3 to
make the exchange server the default server for imp webmail. Then, in

Thank you. Is this in the current docs?
What is the output of these commands?
rpm -q -f /etc/httpd/modules/mod_auth_external.so
After doing
/etc/rc7.d/S85httpd-e-smith and
/etc/rc7.d/S86httpd-admin
Everything is now OK. Thanks for your help Gordon.

In doing the upgrade this morning, the path to the file is incorrect.
You say to use
rpm -Uvh ftp://ftp.e-smith.com/pub/e-smith/e-smith-4.0/updates/RPMS/\

The above line came into my mail system with the extra \ after RPMS

You have to set your time zone first, then change your settings to use NTP. I ran
into this the hard way as well. As soon as I set my time zone, let the changes take
effect, then change to NTP, everything starts working correctly.
Maybe the time zone setting could be moved to a separate

I had read TFM, and went to the links. Since there were such a vast array of choices,
I thought I'd see what others who know more about SSH than me were using.
