I would check with your local ASPCA chapter. The aspca.org website might
have local listings of events, but I haven't checked. In the case of
Boston, this event was scheduled before the hurricane, so it's just a
coincidence that they're able to put to good use.

Hi Claude,
That's an interesting idea; honestly, I wasn't thinking of containers.
Evacuee centers like the Astrodome and Otis are being set up for the
long haul - six months or more. The Red Cross plan for Otis is taking
into account the need to set up schools and other institutions on-site.
