@Andrew and @Matthew, thanks for the input. I'll definitely take a
look at Kim Goodwin's book.

Hi there,
I am fully aware that prototype questions are many in this discussion
list, but I would like to focus on something specific:
What would you recommend for allowing clients to put comments
directly on your prototype?
I am thinking of the functionality you have in Adobe Acrobat
Thanks for the feedback!
@Nancy, that seems to be exactly what I'm looking for, thanks! I am
definitely going to try out the Axure/ProtoNotes combo, and see how
it holds up against web alternatives. Might even post a comparison,
if I have enough time.

I just did a short focus group and light usability test with a couple of
children. What I noticed is how important the phrasing of interview questions
and usability tasks is, especially with children but also with adults in
general.
Has anybody recommendations for books or other resources
Very interesting tool. From my brief experience with QuickSilver, it
seems similar. One big improvement over QuickSilver though might be
(if not yet implemented) to offer contextual options, relevant to the
current application or selected content.
One major disadvantage of CLI's is the lack of
Hi Markus,
I sympathise with your dilemma as it is close to my own experience. I
did quite a theoretic MSc at the university, based on computer science
with some multimedia stuff thrown in. But I hardly got experience to
create actual interfaces. In the Netherlands we have now quite some
Hi John,
Thanks for the link! I didn't know this tool yet. From the tutorial
videos, it looks pretty nifty, although the interface design might be
improved (!). I read some review that is slightly less responsive as
an offline app. This is also apparent from the tutorial videos. But
basically, it
Wow, that looks pretty cool! Regarding whether this holds any added
value to designers, I would say that the border between prototyping
with pen and pencil, or with wireframes on a computer is getting
blurred with your Wiimote app.
For example, I tend to draw things on paper before I wireframe
such as Pencil.

Hi,
Thanks for your feedback!
The greyed out search button is indeed an elegant solution IF you
choose for not returning results on an empty query. I wonder if there
are any supporters of returning all results

@ Dante
Thanks for your answer, I just saw it after I posted mine.
Good remark: he finite set is from a programmer's point of view,
whereas we UX experts should look at the user's expectations.
