Recently got an SB3 and a QNAP TS-101 NAS device pre-installed with
SlimServer.
Everything was working fine until a couple of days ago when I was
attempting to create a random playlist of all my songs and the SB3
stopped playing music. At the same time, I couldn't get into the NAS

Had a very good 10 minute phone chat with ultra238a (Paul) and he got
the thing fixed in 3 minutes...not bad at any time of the day but

I didn't realise that the key is effectively being converted from an
ASCII string to hex, so that for example 1 becomes 31. It's working

I have a new squeezebox v.3 and I love it. I plug it into a Denon
CD/radio stereo. I find interference when I listen to AM or FM radio
stations, as long as the squeezebox is plugged in, turned on or not.
I have searched through the forums. I went to Radioshack and I now
have a snap on
I am very pleased to report that I have managed to solve my wireless
authentication problems with the help of Ross Levine in Slim Devices
support.
Basically it was a firmware issue - my SB3's were on firmware v29. I
upgraded to v37, voila WPA Personal works and I'm listening to FLAC
encoded
I had the same issue and they gave me a new power supply that fixed the
problem. The old one just plugged into the wall with the transformer
as part of the wall plugin part. The one they sent me was a inline
transformer and it fixed all my problems
