cause problems for Slimserver (particularly if you have UTF-8
characters in your tags). If so, you may need to remove MusicIP's cache

You're doing it the hard way. These instructions are for SlimServer
6.3.1 without any additional plugins. This assumes the playlist does
not exist yet. Granted this isn't the most straightforward procedure

I just happened to turn on this HGTV show, and they're doing a segment
on the Squeezebox 3, right now. They've got a customer talking about
it and they seem very happy (he has multiple Squeezeboxes and they show
him outside listening to one with a set of powered speakers.)

windows program called PuTTY. It is an ssh client. It gives you a
command line interface to your linux box.
If you are not happy doing everything over the command line, you can use
vnc to communicate.

I installed the latest release of 6.3 (not a nightly) and the accompanying softsqueeze. After a while softsqueeze stops playing and has to be closed and restarted. Is anyone else seeing this behaiviour?

you add some music. You can browse to the directory containing your new

I am a Mac user, so I use iTunes as my music player (on the Mac there

I just notised that in the SlimServer webinterface when selecting radio
streams the Danish streams from the website I mentioned above results
in three entries in the current playlist listed in the right side of
the browser window.
All other radio streams only result in one entry in the playlist.
There was an issue in 6.3 where Slimserver would test port 80 on mms url
before trying to connect. mms uses port 1755 and so on some stations
this test would fail if site did not have an associated port 80 (http
port). I thought it was fixed in 6.3.1
