This isn't easily possible. You'd have to change template files. Have a
look at home.html: the template is looping through a list of menu items
given by the server software.

6.5 is the only SlimServer version I've ever tried where the service
just appears to stop intermittently for no reason at all.
I can't find any rhyme not reason to why/when it stops. It can stop
over night very occasionally (may be due to nightly scan?), it can stop
whilst I'm splayed out

I think ethics is an interesting point. I don't think its ethical for
the industry to include DRM on downloads! Plus they aren't giving me a
free digital copy of all the vinyl I have, they expect me to buy it
again, although I could argue I already have the right to it. Not to
mention the price
I did update to the more recent version to fix the display issue
I noticed a similar thread today 6.5 service stops sporadically so it

with a Transporter. Is there anyway I can import the settings from the
SB3 to the Transporter?
I ask as it took quite a while using the gui web interface (which is

Installing 6.5 on a LinkStation is more complicated than installing
earlier versions, because 6.5 requires MySQL. Your success will depend
in part on which Linkstation you have. There is no HD-250 model per se.

be in an off state, the screen's black like it's unplugged. Other
times it just shuts off (goes black) in the middle of a song.
I get it restarted by restarting SlimSever on my PC.
Annoying. Hope there's a fix soon.

I've updated a few times to nightly builds, hoping it would stop - I get
the errors in the event log (windows xp sp2, currently running last
night's (10/25 1am?) build) that mention an inability to create a .my*
file in either *my* temp directory (C:\Documents Settings\my
username\Local
Given that the Transporter can (theoretically) REPLACE a pre-amp for 2
channel listening, why not include a Home Theater Bypass Loop in the
design? That is the ONLY missing feature preventing me (and probably
lots of other folks with combined stereo and home theater setups) from
