As for why would I rip trash, well, it is standard practice and always
has been in the recording industry to put a couple of hits on a crappy
record to sell the whole thing. So, if there are two great songs that

Hi,
I've come across a sync problem on my squeezebox that I'm unable to
resolve. I'm trying to sync softsqueeze playing on my pc and my
squeezebox. I can get them both to work for about 5 mins together and
then one or the other will cut out for about 30 seconds and then come
back to life.

Thanks for your responses. I am now regretting my recent purchase of a
Squeezebox a little, bought it yesterday. I am not going to steal and I
don't have many CDs.
You shouldn't regret the purchase, and will probably learn to love the
thing. Honestly, I don't see

Yeah it's probably off topic anyway.
Thanks for the reply though, and I'll also take the time to thank Slim

hoping it continues :-)

Yes, I am having the same problem...and in addition to that, I cannot
connect to slimserver. I see that the SB is accessing my computer just
fine, but the server will not recognize it.

Check again, that shouldn't be possible. You sure the SB isn't
connected to SqueezeNetwork when SlimServer is trying to access it?
The SB can
Wow...thank you. Such a simple fix for a problem that has been driving

One word: QTFairUse. I was freed of the DRM infection years ago. That
said, the higher bit-rates being offered is a better step than the
DRM-free stuff, IMHO. Just wish they would sell all of their stuff in

Did they have any idea when it would be fixed? I was going to use

I've just loaded Slimserver 6.5.2 and can no longer access any Clear
Channel urls. For example, I've been accessing KFI successfully for a
couple years, changing reflectors when needed. I snooped the current
url as:
http://a464.l1977112463.c19771.g.lm.akamaistream.net/D/464/
So I tried updating to 6.5.2 because I have a Nokia 770 coming and I
wanted to use the 770 skin. I ran into massive issues once again where
the new slim server would just occupy 100% of my CPU for hours and the
library would never scan. So I went back to 6.3.0. Now I am back on
6.3.0, but when I
