I'm still trying to work out if the periodic problems with my network are solvable. My SB3 and router are about 12ft apart in basically ajoining rooms. Typically they are 100% stable. Music (FLAC) and 5000kbps network test are 100% fine. BUT, othertimes out of the blue (eg: yesterday afternoon)

The iTunesUpdate plugin is not the same as iTunes plugin that comes with SlimServer. My SlimServer plugins are available from www.jamescraig.co.uk/SlimServer I haven't released an version for 7.0 yet though - look out for a message in the 3rd party plugins forum in the next couple of days.

I'm not familiar with Netgear kit, but MAC filtering works by defining a set of MAC addresses (ie physical pieces of equipment, uniquely identified by their MAC address) that are allowed to access your network - anything else doesn't get beyond the router. I'm sure there'll be a config screen
