The Cuwon is not my favorite player because I have no real use for mobile video but it is a niece piece of gear for flac music if you don't mind the size. As others mentioned the main drawback of FLAC on a portable player is thier size but this or any 30GB unit would allow for 900+ flac songs.

Actually, soundbridge emulates a Squeezebox _1_ (2003), but since it has a different button arrangement, it doesn't even do that correctly. Ejevs, if you are really on the fence then I would recommend buying both and returning whichever one doesn't work for you. -- seanadams

I had the same problem recently and the slimserver preferences page fixed most of the problem. However, note that the stream itself may actually change your carefully prepared station name when it is in play mode, even if you changed the name in preferences. I think this has something to do with

A few more differences between Roku and Squeezebox. Only native lossless formats supported are WAV and AIFF. Itunes integration only using Roku branded unit - if Pinnacle branded unit is used then Itunes support is only possible using the Firefly server which user will need to install

By default, Leopard turns off the firewall and allows any incoming connections! If you turn it on, SlimServer will not work. But I cannot find any way in their GUI either under Sharing or under Security to open a port, or to specify UDP or TCP! I think we will have to configure ipfw manually.
