I generally have periods where Rhapsody works fine... and then periods
where it's buggy as hell, even though my desktop plays back fine. That
said, I tend to always be in a constant state of beta testing (using
SqueezeCenter 7 right now and connecting to SqueezeNetwork Beta too)!

Auto sensing means for Power on/off? No idea.
With Airport Express and Airtunes that is all no problem.
So most flexible would probably to have a mode where the SqueezeBox is
controlled by the computer like an Airport Express.
So just a software tool which re-directs Airtunes-Data-Stream to the
SqueezeBox.
There is really nothing like that

Since the install, however, I've noticed that the mini's fan runs quite
a lot, and for hours on end. top shows that perl is up to ~65-75% CPU!

The plugins that are included with SC7 are updated and moved to
Slim/Plugin in order to keep them separated from the third party plugins.

seem to work, AND he can get his hands on an old Linksys WRT54G, flash

This has been a reoccurring question on the forum lately. Personally, I
download SC 7.0 back in December and have never looked back. Sure, it
takes a clean install and requires you to update ALL of your plug-ins,
but for me with only a couple of plug-ins it was quick and easy.

It's been a while, just thought I'd report back..
Seems that the problem with Firefox on my set up was Flashblock - much
quicker once localhost and 127.0.0.1 are added to Flashblock's white
list. Still a bit slower than 6.5.5, but that's to be expected.
