I think it may be specific to your system/CDROM drive. The plugin is
very simple - it passes the parameter (in this case -t 4 ) directly to
cdda2wav and it tries to retrieve the audio from that track.
This plugin is a hack and there are a number of things that can go
wrong - such as.

I have a SB Duet system, and I want to test the sync ability. I have a
laptop that I've installed SoftSqueeze on, and I'm trying to use the
controller to sync the 2 players.
I can see both players, but can only select one or the other - I don't
see any way to setup the sync on the controller.

you have CD that has no protection!

list of all the players you want to sync. What you actually get is a
list of players EXCLUDING the currently selected one. Therefore, if

I am not sure that the problem i reported earlier in this thread is the

Anyone else experiencing problems with Squeezecenter 7 and Transporter?
My Transporter was locking up randomly, remote stopped working, music
stopping and so on. At the same time my Squeezebox worked 100% fine.
First I suspected that my computer or Squeezecenter install was bad, so

issues... it's been running non-stop for almost 18-months. I even had
it running on my G5 with Leopard and no hiccups.
