I just got my sqeezebox setup yesterday and have to say "LOVE IT!!" It
was so easy to get up and running. The graghics displayed on the
controller would be nice to also display on my large flat screen. Is
this possible? I plan on using the squeeze box to stream music for
parties/bis entertainm
If you have a computer connected to the flat screen then it will be
possible at a future date. There is a PC version of the Controller
interface under development at the moment.
In the meantime you can do a similar thing with the Windows front end

I know that SB1s can be hard to synch, but can anyone help me with

connected on Gigabit Ethernet. I have an SB2 on wireless G with about

As one who has just been through the struggle to integrate MusicIP with
Squeezecenter I would like to add support to JohnnyLightOn's post.
Slim has gone to the trouble to add MusicIP support to Squeezecenter so
why not make it easier to actually get it to work? Letting people try,

It's a uk clip-on part for the ac adapter that comes with the controller

Also I have been experiencing some scanning problems recently ..
It started with SC 7.0.0.
I realised new tracks were not added, so I started a complete rescan
and after 2K tracks it stops. I upgraded to 7.0.1, same problem. I
unistalled and re-intalled 7.0.1 and it still stops in after a few

Sounds very abnormal-- hard to encounter capacity issues with a single

When you say streaming music do you mean playing your own files or
streaming radio? If so, which station/bitrate? And what's your internet
connection (go to http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ to run a test).

SB knows MAC address of server because they are on same segment (uses
dynamic ARP). If they aren't (e.g. proxy arp or different subnets) then
it will send the WOL packet to the wrong MAC address (e.g. the router's
MAC address in the case of proxy arp or routing).

Even with streaming WAV, the SB is using a tiny fraction of your
bandwidth so it can't be a bandwidth issue. There's something really
strange going on on your network but I can't even speculate what it is.
Is it possible you have a virus or something else that is already
massively taxing your net
What firewalls and antivirus do you have on your computer?
Seems like something is blocking communication between your Squeezebox
and your computer.
The ports that need to be open are TCP 9000 and TCP & UDP 3483

tagging seems to be ok,ive done a complete rescan took awhile to do but

I have had My Squeezebox a week, and although it is not perfect, it is
damn close.
If you consider the multiple things there are to trip it up (different
software clients - yes I am having trouble getting the Mandriva client
working, but the duet has got further than my printer did. T
All of iPhone's great instructions are for resetting the SB *Receiver*.
To reset the Controller (which I think is what the original question is
about), power it off (press the home key and hold for a second or two),
then power it on while holding down the "+" key.

I just got my third SB3. This one is a bit funny though - when I first
plugeed it in I I got the Logitech logo and then strange square blocks
on screen, and I couldn't get a response from it to configure it.
