legal as well as technical reasons.

Fair enough. But it is no news that Songbird can playback those files,
at the technical level I believe there are several ways such files
could be played on the Squeezebo
The SB3's interface is way better that Denon's
I'd always prefer using the SB3 to the Denon, but occasionally I'd like
to.
In addition if the SC is a DLNA server it would probably be able to
serve not only audio but also pictures to my PS3 for example.

I'm listening to 'My Recommendations' via Last.fm on SoftSqueeze. My
server is set to 'No, do not scrobble Internet Radio tracks', but
tracks that are being played are still appearing in my library on

Are the last.fm stations not classed as Internet Radi

working as intended. I just tend to skip the recommendations I don't

MeSue is quite right, on the controller you can go to Settings->Home
Menu and remove Sirius from your Internet Radio menu. You'd think
because I took great pains to do that little extra bit of programming

I have now installed the LAME.exe application as specified in the
threads however the music still stutters. I have also set the bandwidth
limit to 128kps but no improvement. Does anybody have any other

secs then they stutter. I have used the latest LAME.exe ( from
http://www.rarewares.org/mp3.php) and BIt rate limited the files to

Have now done that and rebooted. No difference.

In your first post you said you had no problem once you changed from
mov123 to FAAD. Your Filetypes settings shows you are back using
mov123.
Try using FAAD again as there is no sign of it in the convert file.

adapters, everything was perfect (it started out as a codec issue but
wasn't totally resolved until I also took care of the connection).

concealed locations. I want to mount some speakers from the ceiling in
my loft and would prefer an all-in-one solution (Duet Receive/Amp). I

Nonsense indeed. SB's come into their own when you have one in every
room. That means
The Audioengine 5's are free standing only. You would have to have them
sitting on a shelf, a desk, or a stand. Unless you drill into them (I
wouldn't), there's no way to use a wall/ceiling mount with them.
If you're looking for powered wall mountable speakers you'll likely
want to go with prosum
BTW - I'm not 100% sure but looking at your cables it would appear the
RCA -> Mini is reversed. From what I understand, the arrows normally
go in the direction of the signal path. I think I see that noted on
one of the cables.

Logitech wouldn't... that's my personal cable. I got it years ago at BB,
it's just a cheapo AR. I think it was on sale.
It normally feeds my HeadRoom Micro headphone amp (in the "reverse"
direction) with the RCA outs from a SB3. I just used it temporarily for
