Have you tried Erland's Custom Skip plug-in? It allows you to exclude genres (vs. simply omitting genres by unchecking the box) and has always worked flawlessly for me. I also exclude Christmas music from my random mixes, and it's working for me on 7.4.1. -- GeeJay ---
