out using softsqueeze (though it's a bit of a horrendous interface! Hope
I can find a way to just dock that to the task bar somehow)

Yes, there have been other reports of this, and only for AVG. Thus I'd imagine

BTW: this annoyance isn't limited to coverflow. Automatic switching
mail/web/... from landscape to portrait mode can be annoying in the bed case

which the Amp sees as 'CD' so adjusting levels doesn't work. But, when I

The base of the two paths is different: ie, you have something like
H:\Music for one and \\nasbox\Music for the other.
SBS can not tell that these are the same, because they have different

will often show some stray tag fields you didn't know you had (album

like he wants it to. The pc's will never sync correctly and who knows
about the network radio. He will spend a lot of time trying to make it
work and end up with a bad taste in his mouth about the SB product line.

I've installed SqueezeSlave on a Debian System in a VM. First time I've
istalled ist everything works fine and i got output from the soundcard.
So I tried to do it once more an it faild. I've never again got it to
work.
In the web-interface of SBS I can see the squeezeslave and it look as
I had the same issue. Three of them and was finally able to move them
to the vault then delete them.

Thanks for the replies and the warm welcome. I did a complete clear-out
of the library and a rescan, and that helped considerably. I also think
I figured out a couple of the issues. The first was that I was tagging
the CD's prior to ripping. Although in Media Monkey that resulted in the

right, and never look back. Yes, FLAC uses VORBIS COMMENTS as its tag.
But any good ripper knows how to use the right tag. However, be careful,
there are some rippers that seem to add ID3v2 tags to FLAC files. You do

invested. If you value your time at all, $35 is pocket change. I have
found I need to use mp3tag only for music that is already digitzed (and
