might want to increase the defaults for these values a bit, to reduce

I've been using a Squeezebox classic for a long time without any
problems, but a couple of days ago I started to have serious issues
with playing flac files. The Squeezebox classic is rebuffering Flac
files every 6 seconds.

Tried v3.3 today. Got the following error, see screenshot. After that I
tried running v3.0.2 from the same folder without changing any
settings, runs fine. Somebody knows what's going on? Thanks in advance.

I updated the portaudio library between r146 and r147. There was one
change related to ASIO. I'll investigate and report back. r146 is
still available on googlecode.
I'm having this exact issue. Anyone figure out how to get out of edit
mode. I've tried new browser (not a chache thing). I have not

already, but I'm really concerned now that I found out my set-up is not
acting correct when it comes to gapless playback.
I have about 2000 CDs ripped via EAC to FLAC, no CUE sheets. Playback
is to Transporter, SB3, Boom, etc
You shouldn't need to rerip, as the approach you used should
automatically get you gapless where it is supposed to be gapless. CUE
sheets, etc. are NOT needed for proper gapless. One question, what is
your volume adjustment/leveling set to? Off, album gain, track gain, or

crossfade is off so that's not it either. And no offense, but you really
hear these transitions even when you are not intently looking at the
track timer anticipating the change and wondering whether you hear
something or

also, try converting the FLAC files to WAV and then playing the WAV

have some seconds of dead time between the tracks.
Anyway, I have many (400) live albums that would give an extremely
noticeable transition if FLAC playback was truly NOT gapless...and it
is.

I'm having a Pandora problem when browsing stations on my Squeezebox
Classic. When using the right arrow on the remote to browse the Genre
Stations the Squeezebox display will become blank after drilling down
so far in the Pandora menu. For example, when using the right arrow to

sure this is not the case? I have found that transcoding can get short
gaps. Check the convert.conf file and check what the SB says under more

I've got an extra SBR and an extra set of speakers, but no amp to put in
between. Can't let a good Squeezebox go to waste, so I'm planning to
setup an additional listening zone in the basement. Can someone
recommend a basic 2-channel amp? Not looking for anything fancy, the
speakers are junk
can't speak to the EAC settings. I use dbpoweramp for my ripping (FLAC
converting FLAC to mp3 for my ipods).

Guys, I just re-ripped DSOTM with no changes to the setting above, and
guess what? No gaps.
I ripped these CDs 2-3 years ago, and don't recall ever changing any
EAC settings, so I don't know what is was/is.
I sent two the of the problem FLACs to Clive, maybe he can tell what
the problem is and
I checked some live albums that I ripped a few months ago, and they have
no gaps, either.
Something has changed with my rips that is causing this problem. I'm
using EAC v99pb4. I think I've always used this version, but I don't
know. I guess I could have been using version v95 some time ago?
