When I got home, I set the server's time. The other squeezebox picked
up on it instantly. I had to unplug the Touch in order for it to reset
itself and find the correct time. I'll keep an eye on it to find out
how much drifting it will do if any. I use the server regularly so I

Shuffle just shuffles the files in the current playlist and will start
over again from the top , or reshuffle the same songs again. Depending
on settings.

I recently installed 7.7.0 on a Windows Server 2003 R2 machine and it
crashes regularly, requiring a restart. I've needed to downgrade to
back to the "old" server software.

as well as one running from the Perl code on Windows Server 2003 SP2

I think that i must have caused some confusion. The 5 minutes off is
not anything recent. The computer/server has been that way for a long
time. Up until now I used a duet (which after several years died),
then a transporter. My wife got me a Touch which when off will be
displaying the time.

Glad you got it working. Remember V2.0.0 doesn't have playlist sync so
lag(buffering) can affect how the songs play.
The current beta does have playlist sync however. A MonkeySqueeze beta
won't cause your system to fall over or wipe your database, it's just

Just a suggestion for LMS IP address.
Since I run LMS and MediaMonkey on the same PC, I set it to localhost
127.0.0.1
It works fine and should help in case of DHCP
(not sure if it will be fine when I try to control MediaMonkey with a
smartphone)

hence the present setup. Doesn't seem to cause any issues however .
