I was able to get the GUI (MusicIP Mixer) working again after i created a localhost (127.0.0.1) entry for music.predixis.com in my W7 hosts file. After scanning the songs, the fingerprint is going to be stored in the files and the headless version (which is used as backend for my squeeze stuff) is

16/48 is the maximum, everything having higher sample rates will get downsampled. 16/44.1 will be left as it is. That said If your AirPlay receiver is an AppleTV which only has an HDMI output which only supports 16/48, the 44.1 material will obviously get upsampled by the AppleTV. --- lear

The NAD D 7050 came out this past summer 2013. Although it's on back order, I think the iDevice dock will be one way to stream 24/96. It also is UPnP compliant. But the UPnP controllers are no iPeng! So I will use iPeng with AirPlay or the dock for 16/44 material, which is 99% of my library. ---
