Any ideas folks? My alternative will be to have to silence my PC but
frankly the range of silent PC bits confuses the life out of me.

wondered if anyone ever worked out how to get it to cooperate with

Incidentally, under the exceptions tab in the firewall setting, the 3
specific Slimserver ports already seemed to have been configured
automatically bu

DON'T use this option! The supplied utility may not be as
easy to use as Windoze but my experience is that they are much better
at not randomly dropping the connection.

what the PC boots up.
Any frustrations I've had with the SB experience have been directed
fair-and-square at my PC. SB has behaved impeccably.

Hi Mark.
Thanks for the tip re the WZCS, I've not had these problems myself but
as I've opted to let the Belkin software handle things I've disabled it
just to be on the safe side.
