[slim] Factory Reset on Sbox V2

When I plug the power back in while holding Add the logitech logo will start to scoll across, pause, then try again, then pause, but the Factory Reset that I am supposed to wait for never comes on the screen. How long is it supposed to take? -- lemmy999

I have finally got the MySQL service running and I can get in to SqueezeServer. However none of my music is showing up and when I try to initiate a scan, it won't scan. There are no files in the music library and it won't scan for some reason. -- lemmy999

the plugin MusicMagic and then says Warning: Schema updated or no tracks in the database, initiating scan,. but of course it doesn't. But at this time I can open the web interface and everything is fine, but I can't start a scan. I click the button to scan and it doesn't do anything. -- lemmy999

With the server running, I ran perl scannerl.pl --rescan j:\test and it scanned the music and it shows up in the web interface now. I just have to find out why the scanner.pl file is not being executed. -- lemmy999

even installed the windows executable and it will install, but it can't start SqueezeServer. It all seems to be a problem with the MySQL. If I manually start the SqueezeMySQL service, it just stops in a few seconds. How can I get the SqueezeMySQL to work again? Thanks. -- lemmy999

. This is different, it is a permanent stop that lasts for ever and the server does not seem to be what is locked up (this has also happened with 2 different routers and every build of server software from about 6.53 to the current versions. -- lemmy999

it is 100% at 4000 and 97% at 5000. Today I am going to wire it to the same router that is connected to the server PC and see how that does. BTW, after I made that post the Boom froze in the exact same way a few hours later. -- lemmy999

I installed SSH on the SC_server computer, forwarded port 22, and let SoftSqueeze to do the SSH tunneling and the music is playing now. However the navigation using softsqueeze is much slower than normal. Is that to be expected since it is using SSH? Thanks for your help. -- lemmy999

When I connect to my Squeezecenter from a remote location and start to stream music, the player always defaults to No Limit or 320. If I set it to 96 or 128 it will later remember that setting when I reconnect. Is there anyway to make the default 96 or 128? -- lemmy999

I was never more than 3-4 feet away when doing this. It tried different SlimServer builds and Squeezebox firmwares. I complained on here and some said they had the same problem, others like you said it worked fine. -- lemmy999
