As a BTW, if you're using a SB2, I'm not sure there's much of any
improvement to be had in 7.4x over 7.34 anyway.

If you completely remove the folder holding one of the "dual listing"
albums from your scan (just move it somewhere) and then do a "find new
music" scan what happens?
Sorry it's a question and not an answer, but this is how I'd start
prodding thee system to see what had gone awry...

Thanks for the suggestions, but they didn't fix the problem.
I had to cue files so I deleted them.
I looked at all the music on my second drive and noticed that some
tracks had disc 1/1 entered, so I removed that.
I then did a clear and rescan but when I went back into new music those
same albums
Could it be this issue? Do you have playlists or CUE sheets which
reference the files in a different way from the way that Squeezecenter
sees your music library?

On the drive that has multiple listings - is your music as separate
tracks plus a CUE file? Are there M3U files?
I -think- CUE files get treated as a second instance, even if the track
has already been scanned. I'm pretty sure M3U files are not - but I'm
not sure about that.

I've just upgraded from 7.3.? to 7.4 then to 7.4.1
In both version 7.4 and 7.4.1 whenever I go into new music I see tracks
for numerous artists repeating multiple times, actually 3 times each.
After further investigation, it appears like it only happens to artists
