There's a nice little introduction to this protocol at this url...

@mherger: Reading this thread, it seems to me that this StreamUrl was
related to shoutcast metadata, but there was a doubt in your message.
No there is no doubt anymore :).

Please read up on the Icy metadata protocol if you don't understand how

The officially supported version of this will work for stations that
support it. WMA stations can also send metadata but there is no
defined standard for how it should be formatted. I will be adding at
Andy,
i could use your help in figuring this out...
i put this line in the sc_serv.ini file:

and when i shutdown
I have never run a Shoutcast server so I can't really be much help.
Note that this is not something sent in the server headers, but in the

Right now there is simple support for stream artwork in 7.3:
StreamUrl='http://.../image.jpg'
If the metadata contains a StreamUrl that looks like an image (ends in
jpg/gif/png), it will be displayed. For a working example, see Radio
Paradise.
I'm also working with Radio Paradise on a way to

No, the question was about how to integrate track artwork if you're
serving a shoutcast stream.

Hi there!
Since I also tried to replace the webradio icon individually for each
stream (and failed) I asked a friend to create new icons which better
fit the 7.2 GUI.
Credit goes to Nicole Zeinar for making theese!
