5ft of routers/APs. Last time I checked, routers tend to have ethernet

If you use static IP anyway or for other reasons too ( I do 2 of my
players and the server connect directly to switches so I can fudge with

Yes, I put the mysb data in when I reset the Duet. Also, the Classic
connects freely to mysb.com with the remote, but not with the handset,
so this has the same handset connectivity issue as the Duet.
As for the Duet not retaining its name? Do you think that mysb.com
is essential?

2 resets, the first is just a network reset which I've found to be next
to useless. To do the full factory reset on the receiver you must press

I had this recently and a full reset of my router solved the issue.
Fortunately I had exported configuration settings so it was a simple
reset and upload of config.

That's what I figured here, too, having the same experience. With the
Boom and Controller never having problems and with five other wireless

Yes, Touch uses MySB same as your Boom did.
But if running the Touch's inbuilt mini-server you don't even need to
switch to MySB, Touch server will use MySB in the background just as
the full SBS server does on your computer.

Since I sent my Boom back to Logitech, and they no longer make it, I
have a choice of waiting for the Booms replacement ( could be MONTHS)
or take a Touch or a Duet in its place. From what I have seen online I
am leaning towards the Touch because of the USB and SD card input.
Since I am Boomless
Touch all the way. The sound quality is better than the Duet and it is
less finicky to set up. If you're gunshy about EOL, you should know
that the Duet Receiver will be the next to go, as after the Boom it
will be the last SB based on the ip3k platform.
For controlling the Touch there is the

scanned library (on Netgear NAS) that i see if i look from the

Clever folks can you help? I have a number of Duets/SB+ around the
house all connected via an ethernet network. I'm interested in using
the new Radio (with rechargeable battery pack) in the bathroom but
obviously have no socket to connect to. There's a boom and duet
receiver in the rooms next
The Duet receiver acts as a hidden wifi ad-hoc bridge when configured to
allow the controller. However I don't know what the WEP key is. I
don't know if it's randomly generated or documented somewhere.
Personally I don't suggest using this mode since WEP is very insecure.

appeared OK. I then unplugged the receiver to move it to it's proper
home, re-powered it, and all seemed to re-connect, but I get no audio. I
can access my music library, select a track, on the controller it
appears to play
Try resetting the ip address of the receiver if it isn't fixed. Easiest
is to power down and come back 10 mins later and switch back on (router)
or do this with your router confing screen

I did a factory reset of the controller and no help. I took
SqueezeCenter (7.3.3) off my computer and reinstalled it. No help. I
