To be honest, I've never thought the name Slim Devices evoked high-end audio equipment -- or audio equipment at all, though the logo is certainly better looking than Logitech's. I've never liked the name Squeezebox either because it reminds me of that song by The Who that I always hated. --

call me naive but i don't see why, like record companies, logitech couldn't realistically have slim devices as a branch of themselves. keeping the branding on the products as it is etc. worst case, having both logos on the packaging just to comfort the consumer (maybe that answers my question)

I still think branding slimdevices with Logitech is bad marketing. I'd rather brand all wireless music devices produced by Logitech with the SlimDevices brand which is high quality and could be used as a luxury internal brand by Logitech. Fiat -- Ferrari Ford -- Jaguar Toyota -- Lexus etc
