I got it working! I hope! I didn't do anything differently this time, that I know of. I uninstalled SC again and reset both of my Squeezeboxes again. I set everything up in the Squeezeboxes until they said they couldn't find SqueezeCenter. Then I installed SqueezeCenter, rebooted the computer

I also noticed IP conflicts the other day when I connected my three Squeezebox Receivers and two Controllers, but didn’t think of it being related to the Squeezeboxes, because I was also setting up my internet connection, wireless network and three laptops at the time. -- KasperLK -

Is this an IP conflict what is the IP of router what is the IP of the SB3. Or is it firewall antivir problem, sometimes firewalls can be triggered to block all access when they are unhappy enough. What did you have before install of 7.2 did you have a version so old that it was named slimserver

I checked the MAC addresses and they match, so that wasn't it. I uninstalled and reinstalled. It seemed to work at first until I went to look at the configuration on my router, and I couldn't get into it. So I uninstalled SC and it worked fine. I have no idea what is going on. I've never had

Yep, the 7.2 download from the site. Never would have thought to check the MAC address. I'll take a look and see what's up. Thanks for the help. BTW, when SC was working properly it was great. I like 7.2. Runs quick, well thought out. -- slimman ---

When you say latest I presume you mean the official 7.2 release? That is the one you should be running. Check that the mac address (on the label on the underside of your SB) matches what is in the settings in SC... I recall having the identical symptoms to this a year or so ago and it turned out

I have installed the latest SqueezeCenter a few times now. I thought everything was working great until I restarted my computer last night and the problem was back. It seems there must be some kind of conflict with SqueezeCenter and another program on my computer because after I install SqueezeC
