So, after getting 7.4.1 to work on my ReadyNAS, and then figuring out
how to get the Facebook plugin working (had to go to mysqueezebox.com
and install an app, even though there was already a facebook plugin
installed--which made little sense to me), I'm now happily posting

That did it Sue. Thanks!

If you've added the Facebook app from App Gallery and supplied your
credentials, you should then have "Share on facebook" in the context
menu which appears when you press + (more) from the now playing screen.

Twitter is the only "social network" I use - I like my online/real
personae to stay fairly separate, not least because of the work that I
do
I don't think anyone gets Twitter at first. It took me a while.
I primarily use Twitter to promote my site. People who follow me can
get almost real time notification of anything new I post on my site and
communicate with me in a different way than they can just visiting my
site. I mix in a bit o
I used to think that of Twitter, too. I used to prefer Jaiku, too (it
still has better features), however, it's not the personal tweets that
make Twitter useful, it's the real-time information. Look up what it did
during the Iranian election, or keep an eye on the trending topics for

I personally don't get Twitter. When I've gone there, it struck me as
full of "who cares" kind of material. Does anyone really care what music
someone is listening to, or care enough to go through a bulky list of
filler to find out? I guess if I did, I would ask. But I don't care,
it's about as

Do you have plugins installed? One of Erland's (Custom Browse,
probably) replaces the track info menu, and then you have to go another
level deep by scrolling down to "Show standard song info

Thanks for the URL of the loved tracks RSS.
"Love this track" is in the track info menu (press right from now
playing on the current track) in 7.3 or the context menu (+ button) in
7.4. In the WebUI, I think it's in the track info menu that you get when
you click a song title.

A very silly question: I usually love my tracks form the last.fm web
interface, but I know you are supposed to be able to love from the SB3
remote (and web interface?) but can't seem to find it.
I think I'm using just the standard last.fm plugin that comes with
SqueezeCentre.

I added Twitter posting to my TV/radio recording app a while ago - but
soon added filtering so that channels or programmes could be filtered
out.

Wow! Thanks!
A bare-bones Twitter app (posting only) is probably a few hours' work,
tops. But I can't really do that without Marketing's blessing as I need
a nice icon, text for the site, etc. If there's enough time left after
other stuff I'll see what can be done.
