Thanks.

i think there is quite a bit of skin development going into SS 7. There
may not be anything specific for the iPhone, but if more advanced skins
are being produced, it should be able to handle them just fine too.
I wouldn't be surprised to see an iPhone specific skin, considering the
popularity of
Resurrecting this...
I've had the phone for a while now (what a gadget!) and it's good with
handheld, touch and default skins.
Just wondering if there was anything now or in the works that would
work better on it.
Thanks.

Stood in line, the last 8 gb went to the guy in front of me. Ordered it
from att direct, got it 6 days later. Have had it for 2 weeks now. I
know, it has shortcomings, some things left off, as were mentioned in
an earler post, but what it DOES do is so brilliantly and beautifully
implemented, t

I've tried default and "Touch". Both work fine, but "Touch" is a
little weird - can't scroll all the way down my playlist for some
reason. Default works fine though, you just have to zoom in to select
the links accurately.

I just picked up a 4 gig today. I would have got an 8 but they sold out
5 minutes before I made it to the store... :-(
That said...it freak'n rocks! Works perfect as a Slim remote and
switches to WiFi seemlessly. Best smartphone I have ever used.

Not true. The iPhone's SIM slot is located at the top and it can be
ejected with a paperclip. Current AT&T SIM's will work in it, as a
matter of fact - after
Yes, the iPhone is enjoying somewhat more hype than it may deserve,
although it is high on 'cool factor'. They aren't being released here

honeymoon will be over to some degree for a lot of users, although the

I've been anxiously waiting for someone to post their experience using
an iPhone with SlimServer... anyone!?!?
I like my 770, but having something "always on" and almost always in
arms reach would be much more useful.

My Siemens SX1 may be long in the tooth now, but the iPhone isn't going
to be it's replacement. Perhaps the N95 when the cost becomes a bit
more reasonable...

I dissagree. Geeks know when a phone is a load of old tosh with a
distinct lack of features that are used every day by thousands, or
indeed millions of people.

There are some huge holes in that glory without Flash and Java. (sad glory

I've used my BlackBerry to control SS over AT&T (Cingular) EDGE without
too many problems. EDGE isn't really that bad... it's certainly better
than a 56k modem!!

Anyway,
posting here to let all know that I will as one of the first things try
it out as a slimserver remote!! I can't wait to see how the safari
