the volume to the speakers via wall controls, so I
can't give you specific SB volume levels that work or not. I do suggest
that you only use the input2 on the Amp100 for your SB, because input1
is designed to cut for the slightest pause, or even quiet passage, in
the music.

It's not a wireless router per se, but a wireless bridge. I've never
used my SB3 that way, so I don't know if you need a crossover cable or
if a straight-thru ethernet cable will suffice. If you don't already
have the crossover cable, try a regular cable first to see if that
works.

date/time screensaver to drift back and forth across the VFD screen.
Unfortunately, I don't think it works with the more elaborate
screensavers like WeatherTime.

In the SC Settings you can customize what appears (and what doesn't
appear) on the top level menu. I don't have SC in front of me to
confirm, but I'm pretty sure you can move Synchronize up to the
top-level menu.

I vaguely recall a bug in SC whereby if normal RG tags and iTunes'
volume normalization tags (I forget exactly what they're called) are
_both_ present on a track that SC will do strange things. Do you have
any of those iTunes tags?

Do you use a SB Controller? I have found that with some SBC firmware if
I leave the SBC screen somewhere in my music library (eg, Browse
Artists) it will wake up my server from S3 a minute after suspending. If
I go back to the home screen it doesn't wake up the server.

it doesn't say anything about wireless signal strength then it is using
wired. Or you can go back to network setup (hold down the left button on
the IR remote for 5 seconds) to see how it is connecting.

to look out for tracks that have both ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags, and possibly
APE tags. In general, eliminate all the ID3v1 tags and use only ID3v2
tags.
Unfortunately I don't know a good tagging program for the Mac, but I
expect someone will offer a suggestion.

posters eliminated the rebuffering by changing his router, and the other
resolved the problem by pulling ethernet cable. Unless there's another

For Squeezenetwork (SN) the simplest thing is to install SoftSqueeze or
SqueezePlay on your netbook and point it to www.squeezenetwork.com. Note
that some music services are not available via SoftSqueeze. (You can
find SoftSqueeze under Extras in SqueezeCenter.)

into that problem I was able to solve it by plugging the SB
power supply into an outlet as far as possible from the radio. Just the
length of the standard cord (~5 feet) was enough to avoid the
interference. If that doesn't work, you could try a different power
supply.

Note: It's called ARTISTSORT (or alternatively, ARTISTSORTORDER) for
FLAC or Ogg files. For MP3 files there's a different tag name, but I
