Just thought I post a message here to see if anyone on the
dbaneedsconfirm list is reading. I opened issue 52451 several months ago
and it's still in unconfirmed state. I am wondering if anyone is even
looking at OOo 2.0 database issues. IMO the issue is too visible to be
ignoring at the RC level

Does OOo make its own copies of the fonts? Where can I find this?
If so, you can find them in the OpenOffice.org/user/fonts directory
(where OpenOffice.org is you user dir).
If you don't know what your user dir is, take a look at
$HOME/.sversionrc

Hi,
A solution to this known problem can be found at:
http://documentation.openoffice.org/faqs/installation/026.html
and also in the user guide that you can get from:

The folder mentioned in the faq doesn't exist on my hard drive

Several times, when I've selected some sheets to alter them, I forget

more that one sheet!
Hi,
if you installed these fonts for OOo with spadmin, then there may indeed
be a private copy in your user installation; depending on how you
installed this may be somewhere below your home directory or in your OOo

Dunno 'bout the rest of you, though I do know I saw someone
