Checked out & compiled the code from bzr using Rev 513, which I assume
is the same version as the .dll you provided. With that code the problem
is fixed and all works (tested shutdown, suspend & restart). As I'm
using Mono pre 2.0 (1.9.1), maybe one of the folks running Mono > 2 can
confirm if it's
Somehow the Session plugin (or maybe Do itself) doesn't communicate the
command via D-Bus correctly. Because if you send it directly to the
gnome-power-manager through a Terminal it works (at least for me).
Command to try it out (for shutdown):
dbus-send --session --dest=org.freedesktop.PowerManag
When switching from .97 to .98 I started getting the same error. Doesn't
matter if it's with Mono 1.9.1 or Mono 2.0.1. Both shutdown and restart
command give me the error. Running Ubuntu 8.10 64bit

Ok, updated both do and do-plugins to 0.7.96.0 amd64. Removed all
settings files and gconf values before reinstallationg. Files and Folder
plugin is still borked. If I try to open the preference window for the
plugin I still recieve the empty window as in the original screenshot.

Ok will do. Any idea on about when updated versions might hit the PPA?
