I have been using the Toolbar and have loved
it. This past week it has frozen my computer when I started a search, and

I'm afraid this is a bit of a stream-of-consciousness here.
Rather than fiddling around in search.htm as per my last email, could
people add
checkForUpdate = false;
to their localprefs.js file.
(Or change the line equivalent line in preferences.js to 'false')

Folks,
I suspect that the explorer hang is related to the automatic version
upgrade check.
I haven't looked any further into this yet than commenting-out (add // to
the start of the line), the line:
setTimeout( "checkWebForUpdate()", checkForUpdateDelay );
in the function def()
