I am looking for three good knobs for a Drake UV-3. Anyone have some for sale
or know where I might find them.
Thanks to all who reply.

The Powermaster is fairly easy to replicate, just a bunch of holes to
cut! I would just put an electrical contactor (any electrical supply
place, Home Depot?) in the a 'remote' box with a 240 VAC connector on it
(if needed) and then hard wire a power strip(s) to it.
The Antenna
Garey,
Thanks...so it looks like even if you don't use the remote antenna
switch it's a neat accesory for a C line with L4B and MN-2700?

Yeah, I guess. The clock, main power switch, Wattmeter, rotor control
and ten minute timer are all useful to some extent. It certainly
'neatens up' the station wiring! If you operate some of the 'other'
modes, the 3 position switch (EQUIP CONTROL) on the panel actually has

Hi, Lee,
They didn't make very many of these, so you may have to fabricate unless you're
lucky enough to find some original units. If you're intending to use it,
rather than let it sit as a museum piece, I would suspect that making them up
should be simple enough electrically.

I would like to add the 10 meter, 6 meter and 17 meter crystals to my 2B.
It has been so long the crystal companies need to know the specs for the
crystal. Does anyone have that or better yet a good source for 2B crystals.

I recently got an SPR4 and while as a receiver I am very happy with
it, I always have been disapointed with the dial calibration.
The crystal calibrator seems to be way off and wanders all over the
place.
I looked at the radio itself and found that there is no crystal
calibrator in the

The four pins are:
1. Chassis ground
2. Switch, grounded to turn Calibrator on via S7
3. +12 VDC Supply
4. Antenna via S3
The Antenna output is coupled on the Calibrator via a 3.9 pF capacitor.
You may need to experiment with this to get good output without
overloading on the

I don't have any 'official' information, but looking at the circuit, and
the time it was designed, I'd say they're 'almost' certainly Parallel
Resonant for 32 pF load for Bands A, B, C and D. The crystals for Band
E are most likely Third Overtone, Series Resonant for a 20 pF load.
Paul,
No association with either of these, but maybe help the archive and you.
