Im using Netbeans to build and install DSpace. During a
*fresh_install*and the build fails due to this error:

/../.../NetBeansProjects/DSpace/dspace/

Hi Jimena,
you need to be more specific.
If you want to know how to enable Spanish in DSpace interface, take a
look at default.locale and webui.supported.

We're experimenting with adding new metadata schemas on DSpace. I come
from a computer science background, so I am thinking hierarchically,
like DNS and LDAP, where the hierarchies are essentially name spaces
with common at the top, moving to more unique at the bottom:
