All I can say is when I suggested to the other D-STAR users in the area that we use 145.670 as a simplex, I was told that the NASA ARC uses 145.665 to rebroadcast NASA TV and we had to stay clear. I have no official notification. I suppose it could be a gentlemen's agreement locally. I will

Use KR4AIKCL to link to the repeater, if you are using a DVAP. If you are going directly via RF to the repeater, and If permitted by gateway administrator, set RPT1=KR4AIK C, RPT2=KR4AIK G and UR=REF002AL to link to reflector (if repeater is not already linked). Put UR=CQCQCQ once linked.

That is by far the best explanation I have read lately. There are so many myths flying around. It gets really confusing but you just cleaned it up a bit more for me. I will make those changes and make MYCALL the same in all radios. I will leave my DVAP and Hotspot as is. Thanks, John.
