I tried both 9.1 and 8.6 boots, no go. The 8.6 is pretty clean only the pc card extensions and the maxpowr for the processor. I talked to DT&T, they said it happens sometimes and you need to replace the cage assembly $95.00, ouch. Not worth the expense, i will swap the cards. Oh well. I guess

Well. here is something interesting, all of the sudden my bottom card slot is non-functional. It seems like it is not getting any power, cards don't work when inserted(the same ones work in the top slot) and the eject button won't work. They must be manually removed via the trusty bent paper clip.

Hey all, I have the Skyline card in my 2400/180 (OS 8.6) and I can't figure out how to get it to initially dial-up with my Airport 1 base station. I can use my newer Powerbooks to initiate the dial-up and then the 2400 works just fine, but how do I get the 2400 to dial in? Thanks, Larry, Darn

To the best of my knowledge, you can't. You can only use it once a connection is already established. You could, however, use a newer PowerBook to set the base station to automatically dial if it gets a network request...though this may result in more dialups than you want. Good luck, Ivan. --

Chuck forwarded a message from another source about long term storage of his favorite Duos: I don't follow this list, but I agree with Dan if you want a vapor proof bag, you need a metalized bag, polypropolyne and most other flexable plastics, absorb water and outgas both into the air and the bag.
