A less elegant solution would be to keep a barebones 9.1 partition to use as a bootloader. That is, you would use X's startup disk control panel to boot into the little 9.1 SF. That little folder would allow you to boot into a full 7.6.1 folder no problem. I have a small 70 meg 9.1 SF on my 240

It is not possible to do Ethernet without a Microdock that is set up to do Ethernet only and no other ports. It attaches to the docking port and give you one RJ45 jack to use. A Duo 280 is a nice little WordProcessor and emailer. A 280c will gobble battery power faster. Scott -- Duo
