Hello Mac,
Download the latest cluster database file (DX4WIN.TCP) from:
http://dx4win.ad1c.us/cluster.htm
Make sure your Packet Window is open. If it is not, check your
Packet1 preferences, make sure that "Type" is set to "Regular" and
"COM Port" is set to "TCP/IP".
With the Packet Window
A better program, a new name!
The program formerly known as "Writelog to DX4WIN" (wl2dxq) is now
called "ADIF to DX4WIN" (adif2dxq). I have just released version 3.0
with lots of changes (note new URL):

Here are the release notes:

Bob,
I am NOT on the payroll of DX4WIN.
I am only trying to help people in my free time

To support the K3, the sequence of set mode / set frequency was changed.
It appears that this change cannot be applied to all radios, so I will
make this an option in the radio file.

Hi all...
DX4WIN 7.06 doesn't change mode on my FT-897D. I am using a home-modified
rig file. I checked with the original rig file for the FT-897 and it
doesn't work too.
The frequency is set correctly (no offset), but the radio behaves like if I
had checked "Ignore mode in real time". I

I have asked about the better interface and received many ideas: Many thanks

How can I connect via TELNET?

It's not a big deal and as long as you stay with one mode, you
won't notice it. If it happens, you can get it right by clicking
on the spot a second time.
Anybody, who has written more than two lines of programming
code, knows how difficult it is to avoid small mishaps like
this, when chan

I have a similar experience here with my Yaesu FT-920. Grabbing the
spots places them 'offset' by 700 hz, which is my CW offset.
I returned to version 7.05.03 and do not have the problem.

Come'on guys, give Paul et al a break. It dang difficult to support
all these rigs especially when you can't own them all. The K3 issues
have been escalating the temperature and they tried something to fix
it and it introduced another problem. Fall back to 7.05 and let them
figure it out,

Well, not a big deal, I seldom click a spot. And we can always go back
to 705. After all, 7.06 had practically nothing new except the support
for OMNI and K3 (and of course Jim's new country etc files).
But I hate updates - I always forget something - including the backup
automation...

If the people who provide the software will not support it, then this is
worse than Microsoft.

You are not on the correct place to modify or try something out
If you compare my suggestions or
Guy,
You are 100% correct! There are no standards. Even for the most used
commands like set VFO A, Set VFO B, read VFO A, etc...
Yaesu is currently updating their CAT Operations Manual and it may be posted
this week and they are standardizing the commands for the FT2000, 950 and
9000, but I
Lou,
In my case I dont have the problem with ICOM but a delay is needed for the

Otherwise something is going wrong with the mode. So trying with a delay
wouldn´t arm in ICOM radios to.
BTW the biggest problem with ALL the radios on the market is that there is

I don't understand why ALL the rest of us have to change when you made
adjustments for just 2 radios. Maybe this is why Steve washed his hands of
this product.

Oh yea, how do I edit the rig database. I can find no value of 100ms in the
"editor,"
except for the timeout of 5 seconds.
What are we the beta test site for the new versions of this product? Sounds
like Windows philosophy, if no one notices al is AOK.
Disgrumbled Regards
I tried changing the freq resolution to 1Hz on PRO III. Sometimes it's
ok, mostly the CW offset pitch is there until a second double click.

Guy and Walt,
The problem does not appear to be in the rig filesand slowing the
command processing doesnt appear to be the cure. I have tried to use delays
in the file for the Yaesu FT9000/ 2000 and everything works in 7.05.
In the Yaesu series of radios, there is a menu FRQDISP...

Hello,
Same thing with FT-1000D here. I have CW display offset set to
400 Hz, i.e. when I listen to a CW signal with 400 Hz pitch, the
display shows his true frequency. But now DX4WIN sends me 400 Hz
