My DX4WIN has a cw keying issue:
It will not send cw via the com ports in ver 8.03 at all. Just a keyed
carrier. But when I try cw in ver. 7.04, cw via the com ports, cw is running
as it should. I wonder what is missing in 8.03 verses 7.04

I have a card from UE6IKI which is a new oblast for me but dx4win doesn't
list Russian Oblasts award in custom award for this call. Is needed to
import this prefix to awards? I thought that every award has the entities
prefix applying for the award. I use 803. What am i missing?

I have the same problem here. I am using v8.03, Windows XP, SP3 , USB
interface RigExpert Tiny, virtuale: COM1 - CAT; COM2, PTT delay 0, DTR =
CW keying, RTS = PTT. When I start a CW keyboard message the FT1000MP locks
on key down. Changes and values DTR and RTS do not give positive result.

Can you confirm that the vichw11.* drivers are not supposed to be
installed in the \drivers subdirectory for 8.03? I see them in every
version prior to 8.03, and found a copy of vichw11.sys in my
c:\windows\system32\drivers directory (Windows XP SP3). I just want to

My computer is an HP Model e9220y with an AMD Phenom II X4 910 processor
2.60 GHz, Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit operating system.
The interface is a Rigblaster Duo with the appropriate drivers installed for
Windows 7 64 bit hooked to the computer through a USB port.
The cw keying works fine wh
If possible, could those having the Key lock down on Ver 8.03 measure the
voltages on either side of the keying Transistor, both Key up and during lock
down?
Please report this if you can.
I am going to change resistance values associated with the resistor to see if
this changes things.

I just finished measuring some voltages around the Keying transistor 2n, 1K
resistor, and Pin 4 of USB serial plug. Key Up and Tune.
Computer: Brand new HP Pavillion Vista 64 bit. Triplett Model 60 Volt-Ohm
meter.
