I've got a problem with efw 2.2rc1 and openvpn:
I use my blue zone as a jumper to get into openvpn with my wireless devices
(not all of them support wpa ... so openvpn is my software encryption). When I
connect via openvpn into the green zone, all firewall rules seem to be ignored.

on the LAN side of my firewall with EWF I have a GBit NIC connected to a
GBit Switch. Although LED's on the NIC as well on the switch are
indicating GBit link-connection/speed as well a query with ethtool
indicates the same :
ethtool eth0

I have had problems like that. And this is one problem I've
seen.
If you create a user, (used to make the vpn connection) and
then later make a major change, like change the subnet
range, it stops working properly.
I had to delete and recreate the user correctly from
scratch.

It seems that NIC's can be renamed in the file /etc/businfotab and
changes to this file are persistent even when configuration changes in
the efw-gui are made.
here an example of a manually changed /etc/businfotab file :
