All tests are within the range and I receive strong and stable signals

I see that AADE sells the clip separately for $15.00.

stable as the K2 or the KX1 I have in the shack. If anyone thinks theirs is

I would not regard 100 Hz of drift in the K1 as a design problem at all -
The K1 spec is for drift less that 200 Hz after a 5 minute warmup.
The fact that the K1 does not use a DDS vfo is not a 'design problem' as was
stated, but surely was a design decision based on price/performance with

When I try to run SSB on 80, 40 or 30m (the latter for
purposes of completeness only !) at power levels above
10 W but below 100 W I find the power control is not
working properly. There is no problem on CW, or above
14 MHz, or below 10 watts. S/N is 4509.

I've just completed the first alignment and test and everything
checks out except setting the AGC threshold.
