This Elecraft mic was designed for the K2. The mic is in perfect condition as
is the stand. I am asking $75 OBO plus shipping.

It's usually not very difficult to find transformers that will bring the 220V

power capacity you need. You could then use a power supply you already have,
needing at most an adaptor for the plug type.

Hi all,
I deleted my messages playing with a spam filter program but I think someone
just asked about adjusting the digital filters on the K2.
The audio digital filters are sharper and narrower, and the IF crystal
filters will cut out adjacent interference in the IF section, thus
preventing pumpin

Kevin,
With all due respect that is a non sequitor. There is a distinct difference
between net operation and the rough and tumble world of DXing. The former is
based on cooperation, and the latter is all about competition.

As the noise grew worse on 40 meters this Sunday I called more slowly. Working
in that manner allows for fewer repetitions. Higher speeds are fun but only
when the other op can copy you. Any hint of problems means I should slow down.
Hopefully the other op will do the same.

My preference is to use the 700 Hz xtal filter and then narrow down the
bandwidth with the DSP filters when necessary.

Something bugs me about the implementation of DSP filters. It seems
we're using DSP to duplicate crystal filters by having them do bandpass
functions. The other thing we do with DSP is noise reduction which I
hear works best at wide bandwidths so the algorithm has some noise to
work with.
But wh
It's still going to matter, if you are running AGC or there are strong

Hi all,
K2 #5408 is alive in Poland and sounding great.
I still have the KSB2, K160RX, KNB2 and KAT2 options to go in.
I bought kits in QRP Project, Berlin, Germany 2nd May 2006.
See you on the air.
