Well go ahead and put me down for having the UTEC fans in SN#1116. I'd say that the fans are perfectly reasonable yet they are clearly audible when they are running. When they step up into high gear they are very clearly heard and this is in a room full of computers with several fans in each one.

Mine works just fine without ALC. I Don't believe the anti-liability stuff with ALC connections from amp producers. If you have your K3 using ALC and provide a consistent output to your amp then it isn't an issue. If you try to run over the 1.5kw limit for Amateur operation, it is an issue. Bil
