until I needed to use the K144XV Utility. This software has only the

transverter. Collector-emitter bypass capacitor didn't work for me because
activated overload protection on startup. I soldered the capacitor directly
on base-emitter of Q7. This cured the problem 100%.

I love the upgrades to the P3, but may I suggest one thing. I think the green
and red cursers should be the same height. The green curser sits under the
frequency readout but the red curser is taller, this looks odd to my eye. I
hope others agree.

Sounds like a polling issue. Does it happen with Writelog turned off? If
not, then maybe you can adjust the polling frequency in Writelog.

Making a few guesses about how you have reported the situation, I would
say that you may have the XV50 input attenuator set incorrectly.
I would suggest setting the K2 power for 5 watts - then with that drive
level, adjust the XV50 input attenuator to produce 20 watts output.
