Brian, Depends entirely on the software between the virtual serial port presented to Utility and the physical port connected to the radio. For example, I have a MicroHam interface box and it cannot be reliably used when performing a K3 firmware load because it attempts to interpret the data

Hi Ken: There is a Heathkit forum you could try this question out on. From what I have been reading, 10-12W is a little low on the power curve for the amp and getting it tuned up would place some stress on it. When I use it, mine likes to run at 50-60W input from my K3. Gives me approx 500-600W

Rick, I have a KX3. I use it with the ATU and without. There is a menu item that let's you bypass the tuner if you don't need or want it. I have found that it is a really a good tuner as it has tuned everything I've ever tried. My station is setup with an MFJ intellituner. When I use the MFJ,
