Sam, That is normal operation while the KXAT100 is tuning. See the KXPA100 manual page 25 "ATU Tuning". The power is limited to 25 watts while the ATU is tuning and the 25/SWR LED under POWER OUT blinks. Note that ATU is different than TUNE - see page 19 in the KX2 manual. 73, Don W3FPR

I use diversity on 20 meters with a vertical SteppIr and a loop. Both are separated about 150'. What a difference. Amazing. Makes a huge difference with stations fading in and out and near the noise level. I can work them with the Loop, but the vertical is so helpful when receiving. 73, Bil
