The levels from the RX I/Q are very low, so you might not hear anything. Pages 26 and 27 in the manual talk about using that for computer-based SDR applications. Also, check the RX I/Q menu setting. If that is OFF, you won’t get any output from that jack. Finally, fldigi does not use I/Q signa

Kevin, The I/Q output is an analog two channel audio signal, but one of the signals is 90 degrees delayed from the other, hence in quadrature. If you plug the output of the I/Q port, one channel at a time into your computer mic input, you will hear a wideband audio signal. There will not b

Does anyone know how to test the RX I/Q signal is coming out of the radio correctly. I used the elecraft cables trying to listen to the signal using my computer and didn't hear anything. Hmmm . . . I think 18.6.27 is the old utility, from last summer. Elecraft's announcement said we have to use the new utility for the new F/W. The site lists a January 3 2019 utility for Windows but only the 6.27.18 for Mac. That utility reported that I have the latest F/W, which I don't . .

Where was the email about the important/required KPA1500 update posted? The first I heard about it was Rich's KUDOS reflector post.  I've gone back through my reflector digests and emails and haven't found any announcement about the update. BTW, I just updated to version 2 with no problems.

Paul, Sometimes it is just better to replace D16 and D17 than to trust them to an ohmmeter reading. They can be "half bad" - OK at DC, but not at RF.  They are 1N5711 diodes. If you have the latest updates, the oscillation is not a concern unless you have a T/R switch problem. If your therm
